AC Installation — Book a Visit Today

We install central AC systems, replace worn-out units and put in ductless mini-splits for homeowners across Florida, and the first step is a visit where we measure your home instead of guessing. Most replacements happen because a compressor has failed, a coil is leaking refrigerant, or salt air has eaten an outdoor cabinet down to the fins. On site we check duct sizing, return air, electrical supply and the condensate route, then talk through equipment that matches the load your house actually carries. Installation day covers removal of the old system, new line set or flush, mounting, wiring, startup and airflow balancing. Call us and we will schedule the assessment and give you the options in plain language.

The AC installation symptoms we hear most

  • My AC runs all day and the house still feels sticky Undersized or aging system that can no longer pull humidity
  • The repair bill is getting close to a new system Compressor or coil failure on equipment near the end of its life
  • One bedroom is always ten degrees hotter Duct design limits, or a good candidate for a ductless mini-split
  • The outdoor unit is rusted through at the base Coastal salt corrosion on cabinet, coil and electrical connections
  • We added a room and nothing reaches it Load added beyond the original system's capacity

Search for it as AC installation or air conditioner installation and you land in the same place: one visit, one written quote.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Check the thermostat batteries and confirm it is set to cool with a target below room temperature.
  • 2Look at the breaker panel for a tripped breaker on the air handler or outdoor unit circuit.
  • 3Change the filter if it is grey and packed, since a blocked filter chokes airflow.
  • 4Clear leaves, grass clippings and hedge growth back from the outdoor unit, and open every supply and return vent in the house.

AC Installation — quick answers

How do I know whether to repair or replace my AC?

Age, the part that failed and how often you have called for air conditioning repair all matter. A single failed capacitor is worth fixing. A leaking coil or dead compressor on an older system usually points toward replacement. We will show you both numbers.

How long does an AC installation take?

Most straight swaps of a central system finish in a day. Work that involves duct changes, a new electrical circuit, a relocated air handler or multiple mini-split heads can run into a second day. We tell you the expected schedule before we start.

Do I need new ducts with a new AC?

Not always. We inspect the existing ducts for leaks, crushed runs and undersized returns during the assessment. Sound ducts get sealed and reused. If the duct system cannot carry the airflow the new equipment needs, we explain what has to change.

Is a ductless mini-split a good option in Florida?

Often yes, especially for additions, garages, converted porches and rooms the main system never reaches. A mini-split gives that space its own control and needs only a small wall penetration for the line set, so no new ductwork is required.

What size air conditioner should I get?

Size comes from a load calculation, not from copying what was there before. We measure square footage, ceiling height, window area, insulation and orientation. Oversized equipment short cycles and leaves the air damp, so bigger is not the safe choice here.

Will a new system handle heating too?

Most homes across the region use a heat pump or an air handler with electric heat strips, so the same equipment covers both. If you already call us for heating repair every winter, replacement season is the right time to sort out that side too.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form and describe what changed. Warm air, short cycling, a breaker that keeps tripping, water stains on the ceiling. That detail helps us bring the right parts.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, refrigerant performance, airflow and the condensate line. We find the actual cause instead of swapping parts and hoping the problem stays away.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the repair

We explain what failed, what it takes to fix it, and how long the part is likely to last. Nothing gets replaced until you say go, and we test the system before leaving.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for the salt airCoastal Florida is hard on outdoor equipment. Coils corrode, contactors pit, fan motors seize early. We look for that damage during every air conditioning repair so a small failure does not take the whole system down.
  • Condensate lines we actually clearBy late summer, drain lines clog with algae and shut systems off on the float switch. We clear the line, check the pan and the safety switch, and show you what caused the backup.
  • Heating tooCold snaps still arrive. We do heating repair and heater repair on heat pumps, strip heat and furnace repair where homes have one, so the system works in January as well as August.
  • Plain talk about older systemsIf a repair makes sense, we repair it. If a unit is failing in ways that will keep costing you, we say that too and lay out the options. You decide, not us.
  • All major brands, gas & electricEvery major HVAC brand, gas and electric, handled by an independent crew.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
