Duct Cleaning — Book a Visit Today

We clean residential air ducts, vents and registers across Florida, and the usual reason a homeowner calls is dust blowing out of the supply grilles or a musty smell every time the AC starts. In humid air, ducts collect fine dust that sticks to damp interior surfaces, and returns pull in lint, pet hair and drywall grit from renovations. Loose or crushed flex duct, torn insulation and leaky boots make it worse. A visit starts with looking inside the trunk and a few branches so you can see what is actually there. If cleaning helps, we clean supply and return runs, pull registers, vacuum the boots and put everything back. If the real problem is a filter gap or a duct leak, we say so. Call us and describe what you see at the vents.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Change the air filter and check that it fits the slot with no gaps around the edges.
  • 2Walk the house and confirm supply and return vents are open and not blocked by furniture or rugs.
  • 3Look at the thermostat settings and swap the batteries if the display is dim or blank.
  • 4Clear leaves, grass clippings and mulch away from the outdoor unit so it can breathe.

Duct Cleaning — quick answers

Does duct cleaning actually help?

It helps when there is real debris in the ducts, after a renovation, after pest activity or when returns have been pulling unfiltered air. It will not fix a system that is undersized, a duct leak or a humidity problem. We look first and tell you which one you have.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

Most Florida homes do not need it on a schedule. We suggest looking inside the ducts every few years, and cleaning when you see visible buildup, after construction work, after water intrusion or when a new homeowner wants a fresh start.

Can you clean just the vents and registers?

Yes. Vent and register cleaning pulls the grilles, vacuums the boot behind them and washes the covers. It is a smaller job than full air duct cleaning and it is often enough when the visible dust is right at the openings.

Will cleaning ducts stop the musty smell?

Sometimes. Musty smells often come from moisture at the evaporator coil, a slow condensate drain or damp duct insulation rather than dust. We check the drain and coil along with the ducts so the smell gets traced to its actual source.

How long does a duct cleaning visit take?

A typical single system home takes a few hours depending on the number of runs, attic access and how much buildup is there. Larger homes or two systems take longer. We give you a time estimate once we have seen the layout.

Do you use chemicals or fog the ducts?

Our standard work is mechanical: brushing, agitation and vacuum collection. If a treatment is appropriate we explain what it is and why before anything goes in your ducts. We do not add coatings or sealants inside ductwork as a routine step.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form and describe what changed. Warm air, short cycling, a breaker that keeps tripping, water stains on the ceiling. That detail helps us bring the right parts.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, refrigerant performance, airflow and the condensate line. We find the actual cause instead of swapping parts and hoping the problem stays away.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the repair

We explain what failed, what it takes to fix it, and how long the part is likely to last. Nothing gets replaced until you say go, and we test the system before leaving.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for the salt airCoastal Florida is hard on outdoor equipment. Coils corrode, contactors pit, fan motors seize early. We look for that damage during every air conditioning repair so a small failure does not take the whole system down.
  • Condensate lines we actually clearBy late summer, drain lines clog with algae and shut systems off on the float switch. We clear the line, check the pan and the safety switch, and show you what caused the backup.
  • Heating tooCold snaps still arrive. We do heating repair and heater repair on heat pumps, strip heat and furnace repair where homes have one, so the system works in January as well as August.
  • Plain talk about older systemsIf a repair makes sense, we repair it. If a unit is failing in ways that will keep costing you, we say that too and lay out the options. You decide, not us.
  • All major brands, gas & electricEvery major HVAC brand, gas and electric, handled by an independent crew.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
