Will a whole-home dehumidifier replace my air conditioner?
No. Your AC still handles cooling. The dehumidifier handles moisture, especially during mild or rainy weather when the AC barely runs and humidity climbs anyway. They work together on the same ductwork.
Where does the water go?
Into a dedicated condensate drain we install with a trap, usually routed the same way your AC drain runs. We keep the line accessible so it can be flushed, since drains here clog with algae by late summer.
What humidity level should I set it to?
